Lower School Participates in Traveling Mural Project

Lower school students are again participating in the Traveling Mural Project, which began in 2018, allowing students to connect with other schools, classrooms, and libraries.
The premise is to create murals of peace, friendship, diversity, and love. Schools are encouraged to choose a theme of their own, connect with nine other schools, and then share their mural by cutting it into 10 pieces. We subsequently will receive nine other pieces which we will “stitch” together to create an awesome collaborative design. Artistic input this year has been provided by grandparent and former faculty member Cynthia Stan Mellow and her husband, Emil.
