Applicant Testing



    
For students applying to grades 6-12

Please note: the application deadline for Wilmington Friends School first-round offers January 2, 2026. Applicants wishing to be considered for the first round of admissions decisions should register for November or December. 

Group admission testing will be offered for applicants applying to Wilmington Friends, Sanford, Tatnall and Tower Hill. All four schools will be administering and accepting the ISEE for applicants to grades 6 through 12 (and grade 5, as applicable).  Applicants to one or more of these schools may take the admission test at any of the test sites; please see the ISEE website to register for testing dates below.  Applicants who have completed the ERB CTP IV, the SSAT, or the ISEE within the calendar year may be able to submit those scores in lieu of additional testing. Parents should check with the school(s) to which they are applying to confirm test requirements.

November 8, 2025  (register by Oct. 25)
Tatnall School December 6, 2025  (register by Nov. 22)
The Independence School January 10, 2026 (register by Jan. 3)
Wilmington Friends School February 7, 2026 (register by Jan. 24
Tower Hill March 7, 2026 (register by Feb. 21)
