Middle Schoolers Talk About Internet Safety

Middle school students recently took place in a collection where the topic was internet safety, sponsored by the Beau Biden Foundation.
Students heard from Reggie Laster, a retired New Castle County police officer and investigator, who spoke on strategies to help them make safe decisions online. Topics discussed at a middle school appropriate level included bullying/cyberbullying, online gaming, how to be an up-stander, knowing and finding your trusted adults when needed, and understanding your digital footprint.
