WFS 4th Graders are Published Authors!

4th graders recently embarked on the journey of becoming true authors!
They brainstormed ideas for a fictional story, wrote multiple drafts, and revised and edited both their own and their peers' work. Throughout the process, students explored story structure and learned how to balance narration with dialogue. They enhanced their writing by adding descriptive details to bring different locations to life and introducing characters in ways that would engage their readers. Students also designed their book covers, created illustrations, and added an "About the Author" page. It required a lot of dedication and hard work, but as the students noted, "It was worth it!"
