Meryl Gatti ’15

Class of 2015
Meryl Gatti ’15 currently serves as an Entity Management Product Trainer for CSC.
“Throughout my 14 years at WFS, I learned the power and importance of community. The school and faculty had a way of making all students feel seen, heard, welcome and supported. I always felt safe being myself and using my voice as we were always encouraged to do so. Being a part of such a strong community is a beautiful thing.”

Meryl Gatti ’15 graduated from the University of Delaware in 2019 where she majored in Mass Communications and Media Studies. During her four years in Newark, she was a member of the Club Field Hockey team and interned at the following places: Social Stylate, Breakwater Accounting + Advisory Corp, and the Jones House at Wilmington Friends. Upon graduation, Meryl began working at CSC where she just completed her fourth year and received a promotion. Currently, she serves as an Entity Management Product Trainer.

Seeking a creative outlet outside of her work at CSC, Meryl launched The House of StellaMer last spring offering full-service floral design. As Meryl notes, “I grew up watching my Mom create the most beautiful and thoughtful floral creations for family, friends, and eventually, through her own business. I remember watching her work with such passion and joy and thought it was amazing she was doing what made her happiest for work!”

Meryl and Stacy, who served as the Special Events Coordinator at WFS for seven years, will be providing the centerpieces for many of our Homecoming festivities this weekend. Reflecting on what she enjoys most about working with her mother, Meryl states, “Getting to work with my mom has been such a special experience. We’re very similar and it  has been such a joy getting to bond over our love and passion for flowers and floral design. She is the most creative and talented person I know, so it’s been the coolest experience to really watch her in her element and learn from her.”

During her time at Wilmington Friends, Meryl was an All-State athlete who competed for the Quakers in field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse. She also was a member of Link Crew and Spirit Crew.

Thank you, Meryl and Stacy, for your incredible creations!
