Chris Loeffler ’00

Class of 2000
Chris Loeffler ’00 currently serves as the Interim Head of Lower School.
“There are a lot of moments as a teacher where you are thinking about, ‘How is a child understanding themselves better? How are they understanding the world better?’ Because realistically, you have to balance those two… And I think, if we can create a community here that allows kids to understand themselves better and understand the world better, then that is what leads to a more peaceful world.”

Chris Loeffler ’00, who currently serves as our Interim Head of Lower School, joined the Quaker Matters podcast and discussed the importance of lower school students having a routine during the school year, numerous ways in which WFS encourages students to advocate for themselves, how he supports students and teachers throughout each school day, and his own WFS experience as a student.
